The National Association of Drug Court Professionals and leaders in the Drug Court community have vigorously responded to recent press surrounding criticisms levied by the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Over the last month, NADCP and our members have been involved with the publication of a series of pieces that set the record straight and confirm to the public that Drug Courts are the most researched, cost effective and successful strategy in the nation for dealing with addicted offenders.
