The CJC Welcomes New Coordinator Allyson West

Allyson West, who brings 12 years of experience with the criminal justice population, has joined the San Francisco Collaborative Courts as the new Community Justice Center Coordinator. Allyson was previously the Coordinator for the San Francisco Parole Reentry Court. She founded the California Reentry Program, a social services referral agency operating at San Quentin State Prison. In that capacity, she supervises approximately 30 volunteers and coordinates her work with prison officials and staff. Allyson did graduate work at UC Berkeley studying the history, religion and languages of South Asia, and lived in India and Pakistan working for an NGO assisting Tibetan refugees, and studying Hindi and Urdu. She also worked in the banking industry as a construction lender and at the Institute for the Study of Social Change at UC Berkeley. Please join us in welcoming Allyson!
