There has been much discussion about what will come out of the failures experienced at the SF crime lab. On April 26, the San Francisco Chronicle ran the following Op Ed written by Sunny Schwartz, Program Administrator for SF’s Sheriff’s Department. In the article, she urges the use of our existing Drug Court to get people into treatment. This approach not only helps people and saves lives, but it also saves money.
